Pierre Cassagne is a cinematic destination wedding photographer based near Toulouse, in the South of France.
Since 2020, he has been photographing weddings for French and international couples, both in France and across Europe.
His approach to wedding & couple photography is deeply personal. From poetic, contemplative chiaroscuro portraits to high-energy editorial photography, Pierre's work focuses on his couples' storytelling beyond the wedding itself, capturing a true testimony of who they are.
Using a wide range of tools — from high-end Sony cameras to vintage 35mm Leica film cameras and medium format — Pierre creates imagery that holds feeling and mood, rather than perfectly polished photos.
Since 2025, Pierre has shifted mainly toward destination weddings and sessions in France and Europe, for couples who value intention, presence and craftsmanship over trends and sparkle.

Pierre focuses his work mainly around Destination wedding photography and related services such as destination pre-wedding sessions or elopements.
To be 100% consistent with his approach of going beyond the obvious images and deeper into his couples'story, Pierre almost exclusively works for full or multi-day celebrations, spending as much time with his clients as possible.
Pierre's aesthetic is deeply rooted in cinema and painting. With his use of Chiaroscuro, Pierre shapes light into contrast, creating dramatic - almost oil painted- portraits and imagery to add weight and presence to his images.
In addition to digital photography for reliability, Pierre uses analog 35mm and 120mm film cameras to add a layer of texture, softness and nostalgic vibe to his stories, valuing meaning and imperfections over polished images.
Pierre is an observer rather than a director, before anything else. In his quest to tell his clients' true soul, Pierre observes and anticipates, guides more than he poses and directs.
Investing a lot of efforts and time to knowing his couples and adapting to the flow of the day, Pierre creates a safe space for his couples to let go of their social masks and reveal their true selves.
Pierre shows his vulnerability and sensitivity to allow others to do the same and he welcomes emotional reactions with a gentle and kind heart.
But before anything else, Pierre's first and foremost focus is always the wellbeing of his couples and their experience of the day.

Pierre works best with couples who don't need convincing to feel — those who value intention over performance, presence over a checklist, and who see their wedding day as one chapter in a longer, quieter story rather than a show to be staged.
Many of his couples are drawn to imperfection: an old book, a worn photograph, a piece of film grain — anything that carries time rather than erasing it. They're not looking to be directed. They're looking to be seen.
Increasingly, Pierre works with international and destination couples across France and Europe, planning weddings that reflect who they are rather than what's expected of them.
As of the 2026–2027 wedding season, Pierre Cassagne's wedding photography investment starts at €3,500 (VAT included) for 8 hours of coverage in France, and can reach €12,000+ for a multi-day celebration in Europe, depending on the scope of the project.
Since each offer is tailored to fit his couples' needs, Pierre never sends a quote or pricing guide before meeting the couple or their planner.
